Caribbean Rum Punch

Sweet pineapple juice, tangy orange juice, and our very own Beeble Honey Rum are a match made in heaven (if we say so ourselves). 

Rum punch is quick to prepare and dangerously easy to drink. It’s a renowned Caribbean concoction that adds a tropical twist to fruit punch recipes…perfect for a summer party or family gathering.

Its name derives from the Sanskrit word for “five”, which is a nod toward the five key ingredients that usually make up this cocktail — alcohol, sugar, lemon, water, and tea or spices. Traditionally the drink consisted of fruit juices and came to the UK from India. A little later down the line, Jamaican rum was added.

The native fruits found in these cocktails, like orange and pineapple, provide a natural sweetness that is the ideal match for our Beeble Rum.

If you’re using lots of ice and you find that your drink is getting too diluted, try replacing some of the ice with frozen pineapple chunks, mango chunks, or berries. This will ensure your drink keeps cool without adding too much water. 

Ingredients (for 10 glasses or one jug)

Some ingredients, such as fruit juice, can be changed up to suit your tastes, although you can’t go wrong with traditional rum punch recipe. 

125 ml Lime Juice

125 ml Papaya Juice

250 ml Pineapple Juice

250 ml Orange Juice

250 ml Grenadine Syrup

1/2 teaspoon Angostura Aromatic Bitters

250 ml Beeble Honey Rum


Mix together and to sit in the fridge for 30-40 minutes

Pour into a chilled glassed 

Garnish with orange segments and maraschino cherries and serve immediately.
